Nadine Spierts

I studied occupational therapy and worked in this field until October 2015 next to my job as researcher at research center Technology & Care at Zuyd University. I want to develop my skills in performing applied research. That will give me better career opportunities in future. My colleagues all have a master degree and in the end I hope it is easier to discuss things at the same level once I have reached that level as well. During the master I want to develop myself in applied research and I want to develop skills like connecting people from care and technology (building bridges). The international focus also interests me.

Several modules of this master course attracted my attention, especially: methodology, ethics, client centered research, how to find existing technology, safety issues, implementation, scientific writing and writing a research proposal. By doing an European master I hope to be able to improve my English skills as well.
