Competencies

The programme is open to students who are educated and have work experience in either care or technology. Depending on their background, they will work towards becoming either:

a care professional who:

  • understands every phase of the product/care innovation cycle   
  • can drive innovation in close collaboration with technology developers
  • can apply and integrate the results of each phase of the innovation cycle in his/her own work
  • is part of a European-wide professional network   

or  

a technology professional who:

  • understands every phase of the product/care innovation cycle
  • can actively contribute to the development of care and the implementation of care technology
  • can apply and integrate the results of each phase in his/her own work
  • is part of a European-wide professional network

 

Students  continue to work in their job, where they are supported in their role to drive innovation at the intersection of care and technology. Graduates are able to monitor international research and development in the field and to apply the findings on a national or regional level. They have a thorough understanding of applied scientific methods and procedures as well as excellent communication skills that are instrumental in reaching their goals.
